Does mindfulness affect your ability to focus?

Your brain can change your behavior and your behavior can change your brain! This study explores this bi-directional relationship between our brain and behavior by investigating the link between mindfulness and attention. This study is a collaboration between NYU MindHive and Dr. Sarah Lynn, who earned her PhD in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2022.

In this sample study, you will complete tasks designed to measure attention and focus. You will also be asked questions measuring different facets of mindfulness, including questions about how you engage with your feelings and the world.
