Beliefs About Multilingualism (BAM)

What are people's beliefs about multilingualism?

Beliefs about Multilingualism is an 8-question measure of people's positive beliefs about the benefits of multilingualism. This survey can be used to explore relationships between beliefs about multilingualism and variables like gender, openness to experience, or number of languages spoken. Past research suggests that older students in grade 11 held more positive beliefs about multilingualism than younger students in grade 7 (Bailey et al., 2023).
